listening: country song, seether
It's been a busy month. Alanna had her (beautiful) baby, the very same one that kept me up 'til one thirty last night. And yet it's hard to be grumpy about being tired, which is odd because yesterday I was just that. Yesterday I also helped Matt leave, and now I've been struck with a bout of uncertainty. We have four leaders for our small group, Matt, Tyler, Jason, and Dave. Matt and Tyler are both moving to the Greater Edmonton Area in mid May. Jason has already moved back to Saskatchewan. And Dave is going to med school in the fall, which will leave him with precious little time to be a leader anymore.
It's also a bit unfortunate for Adam, being that both youth interns are leaving now, Matt and Owen.
So there's a bit of uneasiness for next year.
And then we come to a more lighter note. After being inspired by a Top Gear episode, we (I) decided it would be a good idea to mimic the Car Sauna challenge. We parked Dan's car in the sun, turned the heater on full, and the loser would have to buy drinks for the victors. 30 minutes and 64 degrees later, Colin bailed out, and brought drinks from his house.
There Mom, I blogged.
